Terms & Conditions
When you access this site for the first time you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions for the use of this service. We may vary the terms and conditions for the use of this service from time to time by posting revised conditions on this site. It is your responsibility to check whether the terms and conditions have been revised. Your use of this service after the date on which we post the revised conditions shall be deemed to constitute your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
Payment
We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Delta). Payment is deducted when we process your order.
Credit card payments will appear as SP * RUARK AUDIO on your statement.
We also accept cheques which should be made payable to Ruark Audio Ltd.
Ordering
After submitting an order to us we will send you via email an order reference number and details of the products you have ordered. Please note this email is an acknowledgement, not acceptance of your order. We may decline your order for any reason, in which case we will contact you to confirm our actions.
Pricing
All prices quoted are in sterling and include VAT at the going UK rate at time of order.
Delivery
Free delivery on all United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland orders – excluding orders for spares and accessories to Republic of Ireland which incur a £8 delivery charge.
All deliveries must be signed for.
Orders placed before 2pm Monday-Friday for delivery to a UK mainland address are normally despatched from our warehouse the same day, subject to stock availability and any security checks for delivery the following day. Orders placed after 2pm during the week or at weekends will be despatched the following working day. If for any reason there is a delay you will be promptly informed.
Please note all R810 orders are shipped on a pallet due to their size and weight and this service takes approximately 2-3 working days. After your order has been processed you will be contacted with all the relevant tracking details.
For deliveries to ROI please allow up to 3 working days.
All orders received are shipped using Royal Mail First Class Post or Next Day Carriers. UK orders for spares and accessories (remotes, power supplies etc) are sent via Royal Mail First Class Post.
Overseas Orders
Deliveries can only be made to a United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland address. If a unit is intended for overseas use please check the availability of DAB transmissions in the country of intended use before purchase.

Customers in a country already represented by an authorised Ruark Audio distributor will be directed to the authorised distributors website.
Guarantee
All products sold carry a two year manufacturers parts and labour guarantee unless otherwise stated.
If you register your product online within 28 days of purchase you will claim a free third year guarantee. All guarantee claims must be accompanied with a proof of purchase from an authorised Ruark Audio retailer. Guarantees must be registered within 28 days of purchase and are not transferable.
Please note that our guarantee is for goods bought and used in the UK, The Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. The two year manufacturers parts and labour guarantee and free third year guarantee does not apply to ‘spares and accessories.’ These items are covered by a one year guarantee unless otherwise stated.
Returns
No item should be returned to us without first contacting us. Upon contacting us a returns number will be issued which will help us to process your return. Please have your order reference with you when you contact us.
If you are returning a product to us please include a copy of your purchase invoice and include your returns number. We suggest that all returns are made using a secure delivery method, preferably one which is insured and requires a signature upon delivery.
Items returned for credit must be complete and in as new condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way). It should be returned in the original packaging and include any accessories (e.g. power supply, remote control, instruction manual). If items are missing it may affect the credit you receive.
All items returned to us must be sent carriage paid.
We accept no responsibility for items lost, stolen or damaged whilst in transit to us. Returns are usually processed within 3 working days of receipt.
Items received damaged or faulty
If you receive items in a damaged or faulty condition please notify us within 24 hours of receipt and return these to us within 7 days. They must be returned with their original packaging, complete with instructions and all additional items or accessories. You will need to contact us for a returns number which should clearly be written on the outside of the box or packaging to enable us to track your parcel. Items should be returned using a secure method requiring a signature as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit. Items returned to us without a returns number may result in a delay in resolving the problem.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our website we cannot guarantee and be held responsible for any claim resulting from the accuracy of the information supplied. All images are for illustration only. Product specifications may change without prior notice.
